You Will Learn in the Oracle DBA Training
The Oracle DBA Training has been designed to enable the student to be able to perform daily DBA activities. You will be introduced to the basic concepts of the Oracle database Administration including architecture, installation, tuning, backup and recovery. You will be provided in-depth information on how to configure the database, make use of Automatic Tuning, utilize advance features like invisible indexes, result cache, automatic memory management and flashback features. Information on how to analyze the database for performance issues using AWR and ASH data and ability to backup and recover the database will be covered. You will be also be introduced to the best practices required to ensure you database is stable, scalable, recoverable and secure.

Who should attend Oracle DBA Training?
DBA training courses are designed for Database Administrators and System Administrators who are responsible for the maintenance and operation of their organization’s Oracle servers.
We recommend prior experience with Oracle. The instructor assumes that every student is familiar with application instrumentation and how to optimize queries in Oracle. If you are not familiar with these two topics, we recommend that you attend our developer training course prior to enrolling in our DBA training course.
Our Oracle DBA Training Course is delivered as a 40hrs intensive study course. On-site course attendees will be provided with Linux PCs. Attendees are encouraged to use their own laptops if they prefer.
